Skin paint behind plexiglass for front - rear for logos & designs with emblems affixed to the front - rear Emergency Safety System for impact with foam densities & contracting efforts
Lighter & bullet-proofting for low cost replacement then LED - LCD lighting integration
Lighter weight. Lower cost. Easy replacement
Front - rear sections separate front side to side
No separate printed emblems. Unless requested as a custom aftermarket effort
Foam & composite options with body materials then frames are designed to take impact, voud or cancel noise pollution for the cab & create a 360 degree panic room shell with roll cage on all models
You can roll it 10 times over & likely walk woth no injuries depending on severity while repairs are lower cost
C/M WITH CASTING
A zero emissions or close to internal - external catalyst is required for metal molds over Composites
Raw materials utilized with minimal intervention for final products are preferred yet are not always possible
We prefer to void interest in metal casting wherever possible due to time & emissions yet for roll cages & specifics it may be required
Bent square, rectangular or round metals if not oval or other then minimal welds first over casting & welds then use of wireless arm welding & partial to full automation
Melting metal into molds, known as metal casting, involves heating metal to a liquid state and pouring it into a mold to create a desired shape. After cooling, the solidified metal part, called a casting, is removed from the mold. Common methods include using sand molds, silicone molds, or plaster molds with techniques like lost-wax casting to form objects ranging from jewelry to industrial parts.
The Basic Process
• Create a Mold:
A mold is made with a negative impression of the object to be cast. This can involve Ramming molding sand around a pattern, using a high-temperature silicone for intricate details, or using the lost-wax method where a wax model is encased in plaster.
• Melt the Metal:
The metal is heated in a crucible or furnace until it becomes fully liquid.
• Pour the Metal:
The molten metal is carefully poured into the mold through a channel called a sprue. The mold may be pre-warmed and coated with a thin layer of baby powder to help the metal fill all the fine details.
• Cool the Metal:
The mold is allowed to cool, causing the metal to solidify into the shape of the mold cavity.
• Remove the Casting:
Once cooled, the casting is removed from the mold. For plaster molds, this involves breaking away the mold, while for sand or silicone molds, the part is simply extracted.
• Finish the Part:
Excess metal from the sprue is cut off, and the casting is then cleaned and polished to complete the object.
Common Casting Types
• Sand Casting:
Involves pouring molten metal into a sand mold, often used for larger, simpler shapes.
• Lost-Wax Casting:
A wax model of the object is created, then encased in plaster to form a mold. The wax is melted out, and the metal is poured into the resulting cavity.
• Silicone Mold Casting:
A high-temperature silicone mold is used, allowing for detailed and intricate designs, especially with low-melting-point metals like pewter.
Tips for Success
• Mold Materials: Choose a mold material suitable for the melting point of the metal.
• Temperature Control: Monitor the metal temperature to ensure it stays liquid long enough but doesn't oxidize.
• Mold Preparation: Pre-warming the mold can help prevent rapid cooling of the molten metal.
• Airflow: Cut an air vent into the mold to allow trapped air to escape, preventing bubbles in the casting.
